I'm Luis Canelón.
Luis is a Photographer/Creative born from Caracas, Venezuela. He achieved a Licentiate Degree in Graphic Design in 2019, and since then he has been working as professional in the creative field.
Self-Started, Motivated and Obsessed with learning as much as possible, Photography has become his favorite medium ever since. After graduating, he studied Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Photography Classes. Likewise, he participated in a 3-month Workshop on Cinematography, learning the entire Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production process.
Since then, he has kept a self-taught regime through websites like YouTube or Domestika. Learning more and more about the mediums, and how to improve on every aspect.
A Life Dedicated
to Creating
Studies aside, as a freelancer he started a Creative Agency in Venezuela that ran successfully for 3 years, before eventually emigrating to Utah, USA. In July of 2022.
Bringing all of that knowledge and experience here, he has been on a journey of connecting with the artists and creatives of Salt Lake City. First, volunteering at the Utah Arts Festival of 2023.
Afterwards participating as a finalist in the contest known as the "One Shot to Rule Them All" that took place in the Little Acorn Gallery in August of 2023.
Since then, he has participated in multiple other Gallery Showcases; "Shades of Expression" with 3 images at the Urban Arts Gallery from February to April of 2024. "Light Art Show" at the Glitter Armada with 1 image. And most recently "Reflections of Eden" with 5 images at the Urban Arts Gallery.
